My husband was a bit hesitant when I told him I made reservations at the La Quinta Hawaiian Gardens. We used to live in South Gate, CA and the Hawaiian Gardens area was dicey, to say the least. But the area we'd seen before was the west end of H.G. This hotel is almost brand new. it does not smell like hotel They serve u complimentary breakfast, cereal, coffee, donuts, apple juice, orange juice, bagels, bread, muffins, sausage, egg, hash brown, fruits, yogurt. he hotel is fairly new - I believed opened in 2009. The hotel was nice and clean.The decor was really nice. I wished that they had better toiletries, like body wash and lotion. I am use to Bath and Bodyworks being offered. They serve breakfast and it was pretty good - hot and cold cereal, fruit, waffles, eggs, yogurt, sausage, milk and juices. We (myself, my husband, mother, brother and teenage neice) were so impressed with this hotel! When we walked in the room, it smelled fresh and new! Since we all love free meals, we were very pleased with the complimentary breakfast. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of food and drinks.
