Budget travelers will appreciate this hotel. It doesn't have Hilton amenities. If you know to expect a no-frills but clean and well maintained property, this is it. Good location in the historic district, reasonable prices for that area, clean rooms with iron, hair dryer, coffee maker, tv.

My husband and I stayed at the Hampton Inn two nights in Feb.
The room was clean and comfortable king size bed.
Very convenient location. The breakfast was good.
The manager was very helpful.
We ate at the Colunbia Restaurant(in historic district) and the Sunset Grill on the beach. Reccommend them both.
We also went to the World of Golf - it was enjoyable.

This hotel was clean, in a perfect location, and reasonably priced. The staff is friendly and efficient. I would recommend it to others and plan to stay there again myself. Take the red trolley....more
f you're going to St. Augustine, FL, This is the hotel to go to! Pros: Closest to everything, Really Great Staff, Clean Room, pool & jaccuzi. Next to Seafood Resturant, Ripley's Museum, Castillo de San Marco, Visitor's Center, St. George's Stree/Historical District. Park you car and don't look at it again until you go home. We were trying to find a hotel that was close enough to the action where we could park and leave our car. We drove by and saw this Best Western and saw how close it was to everything we decided to go with it. Peter was the front desk person who checked us in. He was very helpful. He gave the best suggestions as far as attraction suggestions, gave us one of the new remodeled rooms on the first floor, and signed us up for a return guest program tha...more
